Photography Interest - Element 1.1

I am interested in product and portraiture photography as it is relevant to my job.  I am an Accessory Designer and each season brief photographers for product shoots for sales brochures. I want to gain technical knowledge so I can take the images myself - I am already experienced in editing images - it would be great to have the skills to do the complete design brief.  I will explore various lighting particularly for shooting watches and jewellery.  I often find there is a lot of reflection on the watch faces from the lenses and also on the metal.  I intend to gain knowledge in how I can take shots without the reflections and macro shots of dial details.

On the portraiture side I am interested in Bridal photography, fashion and Burlesque which includes corsetry and Lingerie.
